~ Understated elegance at its best ~

Here is a really original presenting, early Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit finished in Cotswold Beige (light sage green/beige metallic) with rich chocolate Connolly hides. It has twin fine lines to the waist-rails in dark brown to match the interior. The car shines all the elegance and gentry one would feel driving through the leafy streets of the Cotswold country-side, just as the colour name suggest.

These early Spirits are not so often seen anymore and it is truly a delight to come across such an original presenting example such as this one.

The Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit is powered by a 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce designed and built V8 engine with the Bosch fuel injecton system which provides ultra smooth touring.

This example is very original in every detail - with the exception of an aftermarket radio installed (which can easily be changed back to factory if so desired). The car also has a "period" mobile phone which can easily be removed.

This one is a clean Californian car later owned for some 20 years by an Illinois collector who never drove her in inclement weather, so she is very dry and clean throughout. She has been regularly serviced by us over the last 6 years and anything requiring doing, attended to. Recently, all the hydraulics and braking system was inspected and serviced as required. Mechanically, this car needs nothing. Under the bonnet, the presentation is very clean. It has not been precision detailed but simply kept clean and tidy throughout its life. Mileage is 89,000 and with its regular and attentive maintenance behaves and presents like a car of half the miles. 

The body of the car is straight and the paint consistent. It sports what appears to be, most of its original paint and although now some 40 years old, still presents very well. Albeit with the odd mark and chip here and there but nothing that detracts from its overall presentation. hard. She is shiny without any major fading, dents or dings. Rubbers, mouldings, badges and external fittings are all in good condition.

 The interior on this car is very nice and original in presentation. The factory original Connolly leather shows beautifully with just the right amount of natural patina; no rips, tears or unsightly wear. It all presents clean with the seat leather supple and soft. 

The interior wood is also all original. The dash is in lovely condition whereas there are some hairline marks in the clear lacquer of the door cappings and some delamination. In a perfect world, these should be redone but they do not present in an overly unsightly manner. Should you be interested in having them refinished, we do so in-house and can attend to for you (please enquire). Carpets, seats, dash, rear parcel shelf, fixtures and fittings are truly nice and I best encourage you to look at all the photos to fully appreciate how well the interior presents. The rich chocolate Connolly interior delivers a very warm and cosy welcome. 

As part of Park-Ward's maintenance program, all major electricals and features & functions are inspected to ensure everything is operating as it should; windows, mirrors, A/C, heater, lights, wipers, etc. This is a true, "take the keys and drive" example with no additional budget needed to attend to any nuances or gremlins. 

It is tight to drive, brakes strong and rides as a Rolls-Royce should. 

The car is of very high standard and is an easy 10 out of 10 driver rating. She is a very elegant example of the early Spirit model with few, in this fine condition, remaining these days.
