A stunning show winning example with genuine 26,000 miles!
Here is probably the best example 1976 Silver Shadow Long Wheel Base (“LWB”) you will find. A really super original and low mileage example finished in white with a dark blue Everflex top. The fine-lines to the waist-rails and beauty rings in matching dark blue. The interior is fitted with royal blue Connolly hides and matching Wilton carpets throughout. The same royal blue carries through to the boot.

This is one of the last of the Silver Shadow LWBs. It is, in fact, the 25th last Silver Shadow off the Rolls-Royce production line. It can be confidently said that the 1974-76 year manufactured Silver Shadows were the best of the series as they incorporated all of the technological and design enhancements developed over the life of the model (1966-76).
This is an entirely unmolested original presenting example. 100% all original with no modifications – right down to the original Blaupunkt push button radio and separate Pioneer 8-track cassette player. It has been collector stored in Florida most of its life and yet exercised on a regular basis. It has always been well maintained and serviced by Rolls-Royce experts.
The body on this Silver Shadow is very straight and the paint is shiny and lustrous. The car still sports its original paint and is in immaculate condition. When you look down the sides of the car, they are very straight and true. The paint presents beautifully with only the most minor little mark here and there from use but consistent with a low-mileage car. It needs nothing other than a wax from time to time. The Everflex top is also original and in perfect condition.
The interior of this Silver Shadow looks close to perfect. The dark blue Connolly hide leather is 100% original from the factory. It has never been redyed or re-coloured so entirely original and is in absolutely outstanding condition with no tears nor fading and very supple and soft – true to its Connolly characteristics. The leather really has been lovingly preserved.
The burr walnut wood throughout the car is beautiful. They are all completely original and have not been redone. Although not flawless (not a word you can use flippantly) but in excellent condition with only the most minor imperfections on the dash and console fascias, showing the typical hairline cracks in the clear veneer as most of these cars display – but only to a very minor degree. Certainly stunning for a 50 year old Rolls-Royce and entirely acceptable as is. The colour is deep, the grain rich and the finish smooth.
The head lining is all original and in stunning condition without any stains or soiling. Likewise, is the leather finish to the dash and top-roll which, in most examples become detached and loose. This one is not so and the leather taut and factory correct. The matching dark blue Wilton wool carpets are in excellent condition and in a nice “unused” condition. The boot (trunk) carpet with the same theme is also in great condition.
This Silver Shadow LWB is part of Park-Ward’s “Predelivery Commissioning” program. All our cars are put through the workshop to make sure every major and minor service is done and anything needing attention done so. This covers not just mechanical items but operational features. All electricals and features & functions are inspected to ensure everything is operating as it should; windows, seats, mirrors, A/C, heater, lights, wipers, etc. This provides the new owner a true, “take the keys and drive” example with no additional budget needed to attend to any nuances or gremlins.
The odometer shows an amazingly low 26,072 miles and the overall condition of the car evidences, without doubt, the mileage is correct (particularly when you look at the condition of the interior, under-hood, brake pedal etc). It is very quiet and smooth on the road without any of the typical “thumps” and “rattles” typical of poor (or even averagely) maintained examples of this model. She is a very strong performing example.
The tyres sport 90% tread and the hubcaps are excellent with no noticeable imperfections. All remaining bright-work is in good condition.
Under the bonnet, the presentation is amazing. The previous owner was very meticulous in presentation for shows. Everything is factory original in presentation and presents extremely well. You must take the time to look at the photos of the engine bay as its presentation is like that of only a 10 year old example. Simply stunning!
As you would expect, this Silver Shadow comes with its original jack, correct tools and operating manual. It also comes with a file of receipts and history documents.
The car is of very high standard and is an easy 10 out of 10 rating and show quality.
